Summary of Our Default Process:
Day the Inspection is Booked:
- The inspection is booked via phone, text, or email (soon also online).
Within 24 hours of Booking
- This includes getting the basic information about the transaction (Services to be Performed, Client Name, Number, Email, Property Address, Square Footage (for price quote), Listing Broker, Occupied/Unoccupied, Inspection Deadline, Closing Date, Payment Method, Whether the Client or Agent will attend the inspection and for how long, Known communication preferences for the Client, Any other useful relevant details about the house or transaction)
Schedule and confirm the appointment with the listing broker including access if the house does not have a Supra Key.
Email a confirmation email to the Client and the Agent. This includes the details of the appointment, the plan for then they will come, how I will communicate with them on the day of, when and how the reports will be delivered, a link to an online invoice with a link to pay online if that is their plan.
Send an email to the Client with a link to e-sign all relevant agreements.
The Day of the Inspection
Send a text message to the Agent and Client when we arrive at the inspection.
Send a text message to the Agent and Client when we are about 30 minutes from wrapping up the inspection.
Spend as much time as needed to make sure the Client understands the inspection findings.
Overnight any mold samples to the lab.
Following the Inspection
Day of Inspection OR Within 24 Hours - Email the Home Inspection report to the Agent and the Client.
One day after the inspection: Follow up with the Client to find out if they have any questions.
2-3 days from the inspection: Email Radon Results as soon as the test is complete to the Agent and the Client.
2-3 days from the inspection: Email Mold Inspection Report and Mold Sample Lab Reports as soon as the sample reports come back from the lab to the Agent and the client.
